It is precisely in the crisis situations where it becomes clear how we are able to create and implement unique aviation solutions for our clients. We would like to share with you one of our vivid experiences when we took care of transporting a client to his property on the Croatian island of Hvar.
At a time when the world was struggling with a pandemic and travel was complicated, a client approached us with an unusual request. He needed to be transported to his property on the Croatian island of Hvar. Our team got to work and after a thorough review of the legislation and negotiations with the authorities, we started preparing the flight project from Brno to Hvar. This trip was an interesting example of how we overcame the complications associated with covid restrictions and ensured a safe and comfortable flight for our client.
Since Croatia was not in the Schengen area at the time, it was necessary to plan a stop in Slovenia and at the international airport in Croatia for passport control. Taking into account the requirements and technical possibilities, we chose two suitable airports - Maribor and Zadar , which were located "along the way" and served ideally for refueling and convenient passport control. Both airports also pleasantly surprised us with their comfortable facilities for passengers and favorable fees and fuel prices.
The entire flight took place with our modern Bell 427 helicopter. We started in Brno, where we picked up four passengers. After only an hour, we were already at the airport in Maribor, where the passport control and refueling took place. The next stop was at Zadar International Airport, where we enjoyed a short coffee and went through passport control again. Finally, in less than an hour, we arrived to Hvar near our client's target property.
This journey proved to be not only effective, but also comfortable and experiential. It opened our client's eyes to how easily and comfortably he can travel from his home in Moravia to his second home on a Croatian island. Thanks to this experience, the client now enjoys traveling this way often. Although the car journey takes about 13 hours, if everything works out with a scheduled ferry, our helicopter makes it possible to reach this destination much faster and without the stress of a long travel.
