In the second half of February, we received an e-mail from a regular client asking if we knew of a hotel in the Italian Alps where a helicopter could land. Since we carried out a project with the transportation of passengers to the Fanes Hotel in the Italian Dolomites a few years ago where the cooperation with the hotel staff was excellent, we recommended this hotel.

The customer booked a hotel in San Cassiano and we went to this destination in a Bell 427 twin-engine helicopter a few days later. Two people with ski equipment (without the skis themselves) and clothes for a week were picked up by the pilot near their house in the Brno-venkov district and set off to the southwest. Due to the distance and rare refueling opportunities in the Alps, a stopover was planned at the mountain airport in Zell am See. Passengers had a coffee and a glass of Austrian wine on the terrace of the airport restaurant while the pilot refueled. After pleasantly spent half an hour, they continued to Italy.

The hotel staff was already waiting at the hotel heliport and took care of the luggage. In total, the passengers spent 2 hours 45 minutes in the helicopter. It took them a little over 3 hours from their house near Brno to the Italian mountains with maximum comfort and nice views of the snowy mountains. Although the weather was windy that day, the sky was blue without clouds which adds to the attractiveness of such a flight. The pilot returned to Brno with the helicopter the same day and arrived again a week later on a similar route for passengers. You can travel even to the mountains gracefully, safely, comfortably, discreetly and with the added value of an unforgettable view of the mountains.
