At the beginning of February, we were contacted by a customer who requested a flight to eastern Slovakia for a business meeting.

The weather didn't work out for the first date because of heavy snow in the Tatras, but the second date, February 9, went well. Three men met in the departure hall of the Brno airport before nine o'clock, to be heading east at a speed of about 200 km/h a few minutes after nine. After an hour and a half, they disembarked from the helicopter in Hertník, which is 330 kilometers away from Brno as the crow flies. By car, the journey would have taken them at least 6 hours. Along the way, they had a unique view of the High Tatras. The pilot then returned to Poprad with the helicopter, where he refueled and waited for the pick-up signal, as it was not clear how long the meeting would take place. The pickup took place in a village called Stebník, north of Bardějov, at 1:00 p.m. On the way to Brno, the gentlemen had the opportunity to enjoy the views of the Low Tatras while flying over the peaks of Ďumbier and Chopok and then descending over Demänovská Dolina. While flying over the Slovakian-Czech border, the gentlemen still wanted to see the Vsetínská Bečva valley, where one of the passengers spent a part of his life. The return flight took a few minutes longer due to the extra views and a slight headwind, but at 16:00 the gentlemen were back in Brno in their cars on the way from the airport. This is how you can combine business and pleasure - they managed a two and a half hour meeting in eastern Slovakia, did not experience any stress on the roads, saw the beauties of Slovakia, did not get stuck in the traditional traffic jam under Strečno, were back in Brno in the afternoon and saved money for a hotel.
